New build time #42678
Ok i'm thinking of getting a new build that I want to be capable of streaming/recording as for some reason if i try and stream right now it pixels out and breaks up.

Currently I've a i5 4690k, MSI Gaming 7 z97 mobo, 8gb g.skill 1600mhz ram, MSI r390x, 480gb SSD and 3x 1tb WD blacks

I'm thinking of getting something like the Ryzen 5 1600x, MSI Gaming Pro 370 mobo, Samsung m.2 250gb Evo and either 16gb or 32gb of 3200+ ram. I might see how my g-card fairs with the new setup.

Thoughts?

nope not yet, there's meant to be a whole host of new cpu about to drop.

My PC is still perfect for gaming and recording but for some reason not streaming, wondering if its the ram letting me down

Friend of mine has asked to price up a gaming rig for him with a budget of £1200, with my limited knowledge I am struggling to get below £1500.

Trying to get i7, 16gb RAM and looking around the RX580 GPU

Any suggestions/advice on a build at this price? He is looking to play rFactor 2 and SC (I know that the SC piece is a little difficult at the moment as its still in development) Would like room to upgrade as required i.e. SC reasons.

I've pretty much given up posting around here but i'll have a look.

SC in theory wants more cores the better, not open to AMD 6/12 or 8/16 core/threads ?

There's enough left over to swop out the CPU cooler to a liquid cooled option if they want, still need a keyboard and mouse
